A Summer Pack Walk
Join Shoreline Happy Paws and your neighbors for a free pack walk down Old Saybrook's Main Street to Saybrook Point. Sunset views, pup cups, and a chance to meet our team. All friendly leashed pups welcome!
Here's How It Goes 🐶
We set off as a pack from the Shoreline Happy Paws office, stroll down Main Street to Saybrook Point for a group photo by the water, then loop back with a pup cup stop at Sweet Luna's (139 Main Street).
The full route is about 3 miles round trip, with a shorter turnaround option for puppies, seniors, and anyone who wants a gentler walk. Back at the office, stick around for an open house to meet our walkers, tour the space, and learn how recurring walks work.
A Few Quick Things 🐾
- All friendly, leashed, vaccinated dogs welcome (no retractable leashes please)
- We'll have water for the dogs at the office (you're welcome to bring your own bottle too!)
- Our walk leaders are Pet First Aid and CPR certified
- Rain date: Saturday, July 25, 2026
- Open house at the office follows the walk - no pressure, just say hi
What to Wear & Bring 🎒
- 🥾 Comfortable walking shoes (3 mile route)
- 💧 Water bottle for yourself (dog water provided at the office)
- 🦮 A standard fixed leash (no retractables)
- 💩 Plenty of poop bags
- 🦟 Bug spray (evening mosquitoes near the water)
- ☀️ Sunscreen and a light layer for cool-down
- 📸 Phone or camera for the group photo at the Point
- 🍪 A treat your pup loves

Enroll in a recurring Dog Walking or Adventure Hike schedule at the event - or within 48 hours after - and we'll credit $150 toward your membership and waive the Meet & Greet fee.
