SHP is a team based pet care service that allows Pet Parents to have more availability and flexibility in scheduling on a year round basis.

Every team member is background checked, insured and bonded, Pet CPR and First Aid certified, and trained before they ever care for your pet on their own. You’re not trusting one person. You’re trusting a team that has each other’s backs, and yours.
WHY A TEAM, NOT JUST ONE PERSON? A lot of pet parents tell us they’d love to have the same single walker forever, and we completely understand. Here’s the honest truth we’ve learned over the years: a small, well-trained team actually gives your pet more reliable, consistent care than any one person can on their own.
YOUR VISITS DON’T GET CANCELLED. When your care depends on one person, a flat tire, a cold, or a family emergency means your pet goes without. With us, a trained teammate is always ready to step in, so your dog is never left waiting and you’re never left scrambling.
CONSISTENCY COMES FROM TRAINING, NOT JUST FAMILIARITY. Every member of our team is thoroughly trained to the same standards and follows the detailed notes in your pet’s profile, their routine, their commands, their quirks, where the leash hangs. So whoever comes to your door, your pet gets the same gentle, familiar care.
YOU STILL GET FAMILIAR FACES. We do our best to keep a small, consistent group with your pet, so they see the same friendly people most of the time, with a trained backup who already knows their routine.

I’m Adriana, owner and Chief Pet-Loving Officer at Shoreline Happy Paws. I have been a Professional Pet Sitter for more than 12 years.
Ever since being a little kid, my family remembers me loving spending time with our dogs and farm animals all day long.
After leaving school, I started dog walking for a living in 110-degree heat in Qatar, my former home for six years. We were very successful and were the first full time pet sitting service in the whole country.Â

Chris
Chris is an animal lover and an essential helping hand at Shoreline Happy Paws.
Chris is originally from the UK and grew up in Germany. Then also lived in Qatar, where he met Adriana and was introduced to the pet sitting world adventures.
He is obsessed with Corgis, Rottweilers, and rugby. He is a splendid Massage Therapist by trade, and an amazing belly rubber with pups.

I’m Emma and I’m from Niantic, CT. I’ve lived in Connecticut my whole life and even went to school here at UConn. I have two foster fails of my own named Finn and Buoy who were found together under a porch. I’ve always grown up surrounded by four-legged friends and love to spend my day in their company! I love how vastly different each animal’s personality is and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique quarks. I am just as happy leisurely walking a mellow dog as I am hiking a tough trail to tire out a dog with boundless energy. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

All Pet Care Professionals at Shoreline Happy Paws LLC complete a Federal and State Background Check before starting Orientation, Training, and Shadowing before their first service on their own.
