Time flies when you’re having fun, or so they say. At Shoreline Happy Paws, we felt the time flying and the fun having in 2022. This year was full of adjustments and growth. It was one in which we hit our stride thanks to our dedicated team, awesome vendors, and loyal clients. We are proud and excited to share Shoreline Happy Paws’ 2022 Year in Review with you because you supported us along the way. We are grateful to count you among our pack. And, we look forward to another exciting year ahead.

What Went Well in 2022

This year, we did our best to recognize each member of our team’s talents and focused our efforts on delegating responsibility accordingly. By celebrating our differences, highlighting our strengths, and accepting our challenges, we built a better team in 2022.

We hired additional team members and trained them as only we know how. We honored our longtime employees with ongoing training and support. Our Management Team worked tirelessly to set our dog walkers and pet sitters up for success, think of everything, diminish stress, and rally the troops during even the most challenging days. As a result, we are going into 2023 stronger than ever and with the know-how of a well-oiled machine.

Our Biggest Accomplishment of 2022

The past couple of years have been difficult. The aftermath of the pandemic, rising prices, and economic uncertainty have impacted small businesses everywhere. Yet, Shoreline Happy Paws hung on tight. We clung to our goal of serving our community, our loyal clients, and your beloved pets. We came together with our team to rebuild what 2020 almost destroyed.

In 2022, we are once again enjoying the fruits of our labor. We are busy, we are hiring, and we have expanded our territory. We feel as though we made it, which feels like an incredible accomplishment and a prize we are proud to have won. Many similar businesses didn’t make it past the pandemic and all its challenges, many clients continue to have unpredictable schedules and ever-changing travel plans, yet, here we are, chugging along, building upon our mission of caring for pets and their humans as only we know how.

What We Are Most Proud of Heading Into 2023

When Shoreline Happy Paws set out to offer dog walking and pet sitting services to Shoreline CT families, we set out to do so in the very best way. We are proud that despite the many challenges the last few years have presented, the quality of our care lives on. Our clients continue to trust us, rely on us, and have made us an integral part of their pet care team. We strive to develop relationships in which our services are more than just a line item on the budget, they are peace of mind and support no matter what comes your way.

Shoreline Happy Paws has been serving Old Saybrook and neighboring areas of the Connecticut Shoreline since 2010. We take pride in our team, our operation, and our ability to adjust to the unexpected. In recent years, we’ve had many opportunities to grow and learn. As we enter 2023, we look forward to stability, prosperity, and, most importantly, community. If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that by working together, we can get through anything.
